Art Journeys

Leap aboard an art journey, engage your school with our exciting art programmes...

We believe the process of making should be an adventure, a journey of self expression, an opportunity to respond to the world imaginatively.

During the Art Journey sessions we aim to promote a love and enthusiasm for making, to consolidate an understanding of the creative process, and to develop self assurance through participation.

The Art Journey Programme comprises of the six foundation blocks of art and craft skills:

Drawing and Painting: exploring mark making, graphic media, scale, colour, form, and composition.

Textiles and Printmaking: investigating graphic design, repeat pattern making, using stencils, resist, and mask printing processes creatively.

Collage and 3D Construction: using assemblage techniques, photo montage, creating bass relief sculpture, modelling shape and form in mixed and traditional media.
